It just so happened that we already had planned a family trip to Ottawa, where Amber and Jesse live. After they booked their wedding and we were discussing the engagement session, I mentioned how we would be in their area. It is such a great way to tie in that part of their life.
Mother Nature had other ideas for our big plan of a romantic twilight skate on the Rideau Canal. The day we arrived and planned for the session, they closed the canal due to the bit of warming up that had happened.But Amber and Jesse had a great backup location at Hog’s Back Park. With lots of snuggles to keep warm and tons of laughs, we trudged our way through the deep wet snow.
