A few years after meeting through mutual friends, Kirk told Emily that his hockey game was cancelled one evening. They decided to go for a hike, something they love to do together. And little did she know that hidden amongst the trees was a friend with a camera ready to capture the moment as Kirk got down on one knee and asked Emily to marry him (he even made sure she had a fresh manicure!)
This adorable and down to earth couple wanted to incorporate their love of the outdoors and I just loved pulling the canoe out into the river! Their upcoming August wedding at Heartland Forest should be a dream :)
