A typical early spring day, dreary and cool. But the warmth of her parents home full of laughter and love, took the mind away from the weather. The bustle of the prep, the beautiful dress hanging in the hallway, the tiny details throughout the home. The bridesmaids, her sister and her soon to be sister in law, helped her into her gown as her mom watched on lovingly. She slipped on her best accessory, her leather jacket, and into the limo to go become a Mrs.
The grand church of St Patricks was beautifully decorated as the guests arrived in from the rain. And as all the eyes were on the bride, so were Mark’s. A wide, proud smile on his face as he greeted his beautiful bride. Father Gerard spoke of lovely stories of their life together up until that moment, much to the laughter of everyone in attendance.
We head to the Floral Showhouse, part of the beautiful Niagara Parks, for their portraits. “I’m so happy it rained!” Amanda said to me. Which I can honestly say is the first time in my 11 years hearing that and made for such a fun afternoon. With the blossoms in full bloom, we walked along the pathway, them hand in hand.
The Hilton DoubleTree was decorated perfectly for them – each table a different borough in New York City where they now live. With a lively entrance and hilarious speeches, the dance floor soon opened to an incredible party.
Thanks so much for having me along to document such a gorgeous, family-filled celebration!
