The weather for their day wasn’t showing as being very promising leading up to it. But after a brief rain in the morning, the rain disappeared, and soon after, so did most of the clouds. At the ceremony in Montebello Park, downtown St Catharines, Candace and Steve wed with closest family and friends present.
From there, the newly married couple and their wedding party head to Woodend Conservation for some fun portraits. Arriving at John-Michael’s, the couple received all of their guests who then enjoyed a huge antipasto spread. The fun started early when the wedding party danced their way in, lined up, and fired confetti cannons to welcome the couple. Hilarious speeches, songs, and heartfelt memorials (two of her grandparents passed within months of the wedding) filled the night with laughter and tears. An epic father/daughter dance which cut into Uptown Funk, had everyone cheering. And when the speeches were all said and done, it was a quick game of Flip Cup, Team Bride vs Team Groom, with the losers opening up the dance floor with some sweet moves!
Candace and Steve’s wedding was recently published in Hitched Wedding Magazine and they are also featured on the COVER!
