When Kate and Braden were deciding on a place to be married, they decided to choose a destination that fell somewhere between where they grew up. Braden grew up in Saskatchewan, SK, Canada and Kate in Ohio, USA. They settled on Niagara Falls and what better way to elope than on the Hornblower Cruises at the base of the Falls beneath the fireworks??
Bringing with them only parents and siblings, they wanted to elope with virtually no one else knowing. Sweet and romantic, it was the perfect idea for this couple.
Braden waited anxiously for Kate in Dufferin Islands. She arrived, looking absolutely gorgeous, and made her way to her him for their First Look. And he had one of my all time favourite groom reactions ever. Watching their reactions to each other was so heartwarming. They shared happy tears and wiped them with identical handkerchiefs they unknowingly bought for each other as wedding gifts! Adorable, right?
We took a few minutes for portraits then head to the dock of the Hornblower Cruises. They exchanged vows and rings then an official first kiss to the cheer of all the passengers on board. Then after a trip to the base of the falls, we were treated to an amazing fireworks show. We head back to dry land to make it all paper official.
Congrats to you both! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness (and can’t wait for the next adventure!!) ;)
