The universe truly does work in amazing ways.
While doing a clinical rotation a few years back, Amy rented a room from an older couple. Little did she know that this couple would one day be her in-laws.
A few years later, after meeting online and instantly hitting it off, Justin took Amy on a drive through his hometown on a date night. As they drove, he pointed out his dad’s home, a home he had lived in himself. Amy laughed and explained how she herself had lived there briefly and knew his dad well. How kismet to have lived in the same home at different points in time, not knowing that one day they would meet and fall in love.
Self-proclaimed homebodies, they share a love of cooking. When Amy arrived home one evening, Justin asked her to take dinner out of the oven as it was overdone. As she opened the oven, inside was not dinner, but instead a beautiful ring. And when she turned, she found him behind her on one knee.
Now they get to enjoy cooking together in the kitchen of their first home. This home was the perfect location for their engagement photos.
