Even though they knew of each other through work, it wasn’t until a mutual friend suggested to Chris that him and Kaitlyn would make a great couple that he worked up the courage to message her. She invited him to a Halloween bash that she was throwing and this was the beginning of their life together.
They share a love for music and travel, taking many road trips and mini vacations together. It was on one of these small trips that he asked for her hand in marriage. He took her to Tobermory one weekend and on an evening walk to the lighthouse, he asked to take her photo. When she got to the end of the dock and turned, he was down on one knee.
We met up at Waverly Beach in Fort Erie to start their engagement session before heading to Chris’ parent’s home in Stevensville. Incorporating some of their collection of music was the perfect way to include something they love. And we lucked out with incredible weather.
They are one of those couples that makes you feel like a life-long friend just by being around them. Their connection is undeniable, so sweet, and real. I can not wait for their wedding day!
