The day began with a fairytale surprise: Stephanie’s mom arranged a horse and carriage to take her to the ceremony much to the awe of the guests. Under the majestic branches of a sprawling willow tree, Adam’s uncle officiated a ceremony that was both emotional and full of laughter—perfectly capturing the couple’s fun and loving personalities.
The couple’s love story began while working abroad at Disneyland, and they incorporated whimsical nods to that chapter of their lives throughout the day. From little decor pieces throughout to the centrepieces being favourite Disney movie characters, they celebrated in style.
One of the most memorable and humorous moments came thanks to the bridesmaids. During her bachelorette weekend, Stephanie had joked, “I just want to sneak off and eat McDonald’s with him for five minutes,” a nod to their cherished Friday night tradition. On the wedding day, her bridesmaids surprised the couple with a quick McDonald’s snack, delivering chicken nuggets and fries just before the cocktail hour began. The surprise brought smiles all around and perfectly embodied their playful nature.
At the reception, Stephanie changed into her mom’s wedding dress, beautifully reimagined for the occasion, and added a modern touch with a custom denim jacket embroidered with her new last name. From heartfelt speeches and the lively shoe game to every candid laugh and tear, the day was an authentic reflection of who they are.
