Amanda and Dan are one of those couples that you instantly click with. Their obvious affection for one another, their fun sense of humour, and overall kind natures make it easy to feel like you’ve been friends for a lifetime.
Their home was full of laughter when I arrived the morning of their wedding day. Dan, the groomsmen, and the dads were getting ready in their beautifully styled home. Once the guys were all ready to go, Amanda’s dad brought over a special gift to Dan. Much to his delight, it was a custom comic book featuring the two of them and their adorable pup. It was then that they all shared a laugh in the realization that he got HER a custom handmade book about their relationship also – just to show how truly in sync they are. They even brought pieces of themselves into their flowers – his boutonniere and some of the flowers in her bouquet were handmade from comic books.
At the Barracks Inn, Amanda and her girls buzzed around the room – finishing touches of hair and makeup before the bridesmaids stepped into their dresses. Amanda’s mom and bridal party wiped away happy tears as she dressed into her STUNNING Paloma Blanca gown before heading to the Ancaster Mill.
The Groom, groomsmen, and guests began arriving by their special school bus shuttle, as Amanda anxiously waited upstairs. Her dad soon joined her, tears and deep hugs, before her brother came in to see her, her mom lovingly watching on.
A sweet, beautiful ceremony in the gorgeous chapel on the property officially made them husband and wife. The reception room was perfectly decorated in greenery and rose gold accents. The lively and heartfelt speeches had everyone in tears (from laughter and emotion). We ended the perfect evening off with a little sparkler exit!
