I can’t believe another year has come and gone. As I get the final touches on my last 2017 wedding, I wanted to share some of my favourites from this incredible year.
I say often how blessed I feel. Not only to be able to do something I love and am so passionate about, but to meet amazing people along the way. I feel fortunate to connect on a personal level with my clients – from sharing a common interest to having similar personalities and sense of humour. This has allowed friendships to blossom that I am grateful for.
This year brought many beautiful new couples and families in front of my camera. And while they were all different people, one thing was very much the same – the love. I’m a sucker for romance and emotion (I’m usually crying behind my camera during the ceremony and speeches). LOVE is what sums up this year perfectly. From rain and snow to blistering heat, my clients trusted me to document their most sentimental memories. Photographs they will hold in their hands on their 50th wedding anniversary. And that is not lost on me – that power of what we as photographers have, to give back a memory.
I not only met incredible clients, but also incredible vendors. The people who work more often behind the scenes and make a lot of what I photograph so beautiful. I know many of my clients were so thankful for all of the hard work that went into their day – I am too! :)
So now before I truly begin dreaming of what 2018 will bring, I look back fondly on this amazing year and share my gratitude on more time – THANK YOU!!!!
